RRC Events: Christmas Bake Sale

Phoenix and Satin, sitting at their table during a fundraiser.

The Roe River Chapter held our first fundraiser and public event this December during the annual Christmas Stroll in downtown Great Falls. We had a table set up in the front of the Times Square building, where we connected with the community and shared information about our chapter’s mission and activities. This event was not only a great opportunity to raise funds but also a meaningful way to bring back a beloved tradition from previous versions of the chapter. Several of our members who transferred from the earlier chapter fondly remembered participating in this event in the past, and it was heartwarming to revive it together under the new banner of the Roe River Chapter.

A Community Effort!

A view of the tables during our fundraiser from the end.

We had a strong turnout of members, and it was a great first step for our new group to work together in a public setting. The event helped us build teamwork, discover more about our new members, and demonstrate our chapter’s presence and potential to the community. The spirit of collaboration and the energy at the table made the day fun and productive for everyone involved. It was a successful reintroduction of a time-honored event, and a strong showing for our newly formed chapter. We’re looking forward to continuing this tradition in future years.
