Roll Call:

Lue Fern Bracha, Ron Bracha, Kathy Reed, Kristi Eagle Horse, Phoenix Robinson, Juli Branvold, Ed Worrell, and Rhonda Hankins (new member).

Goals discussed:

Outreach Organizational relationships:

  • Grants and scholarships to aid students for MSDB and Space Camp
  • Rebuild relationship with the School for the Deaf and the Blind (MSDB)
  • Build relationship with Lion’s Clubs, etc
  • Coordinate with BLVS

Organizational Outreach

  • Develop source materials and handouts for local doctors’ offices promoting SOP and local chapter
  • Build chapter website – put summary of minutes; meeting schedule; and upcoming events on it
  • Start outdoor programs such as hiking, trail walks, and adaptive sports

Discussed meeting time and place:

  • Time: 10 AM Saturdays

    • Place: Ed worrell’s office

  • Chapter name chosen: Roe River

Officers elected:

  • President: Ed Worrell
  • Vice-President: Juli Branvold
  • Secretary: Kristi Eagle Horse (temporary)
  • Treasurer: Becky Worrell (temporary)
