The chapter meeting was held on December 14, 2024, at 525 Central Ave. #M4 and was called to order at 1:39 PM. Prior to the meeting, a presentation on safe winter travel was given. Minutes from the November 9, 2024 meeting were reviewed and approved. The Treasurer’s Report was presented, noting the opening of a new bank account, income from individual donations and a bake sale, no expenses, and a positive cash balance; the report was accepted.

Roll Call:

Ed Worrell, Becky Worrell, Jessica Trumbower, Wava Goetz, Ron Bracha, Lue Bracha, Phoenix Robinson, Satin La Rance, Julie Brandvold, Jerry Harrington, Morris Miller, Rhonda Hankins, Kristi EagleHorse, and 6 participants on Zoom.

Chris Tabb gave a presentation about Safe Winter Travel prior to the call to order.

Minutes from 11-09-2024:

  • Kristi Eagle Horse motioned to approve them
  • Wava Goetz seconded, motion passed.

Treasurer’s Report:

  • New bank account opened on 11-21-2024.
  • Individual Donations: $65.00
  • Bake Sale: Income: $521.00
  • Expenses: $0.00
  • Total Cash Balance: $586.00
  • Ron Bracha motioned to accept the Treasurer’s Report
  • Kristi EagleHorse seconded, motion passed.

Old Business:

Ed Worrell stated that the State Board said that Roe River Chapter will receive the $2306.00 that previously remained with the old Great Falls chapter. He went on to say that the insurance company recovered the $17936.34 that was previously associated with the Great Falls chapter, and that sum would be returned to the Roe river Chapter. He suggested that Roe river accept $15,00.00 and we voted to allocate the $2936.34 to the State Board to offset the expenses incurred in the recovery.

New Business:

  • We need to develop a budget in January, of what we will spend through the year, and we discussed various projects. We will discuss these further at the next meeting.
  • We also discussed dues, which are due in January. Ron Bracha motioned that in addition to the State dues of $10.00, we will also have Chapter dues of $1.00. Kristi EagleHorse seconded, motion passed.
