"Worlds Apart" is a short film created by members of the Montana Association for the Blind in Great Falls as part of the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge.

"Worlds Apart" Film OverView

The film follows a group of former classmates from a fictional school called Monet Artistic Academy for the Blind who come together for a reunion. As they reconnect, it becomes clear that not everything from the past has stayed in the past. The film features:

  • Kristi Eagle Horse playing: Ms. Powell.
  • Phoenix Robinson playing: Cody Lennox.
  • Satin LaRance playing: Sloan Kensington.

All three are active members of the MAB Roe River Chapter, and the project itself was created entirely by Phoenix and Satin. An audio described version of the film will also be released after the challenge, making it accessible for blind and low vision viewers.

The Film Challenge ends on April 12, 2026. If you have a chance, watch the film and share it to help support the project.
