The Roe River programs are all about bringing blind and low vision individuals together to share experiences, build connections, and enjoy meaningful activities in a supportive environment. Here are some of the exciting events we are working towards offering:
- Social Meetings: These informal gatherings offer a chance to connect with others who understand the challenges and triumphs of living with vision loss. Whether sharing stories, offering support, or just enjoying lighthearted conversation, these meetings provide a welcoming space to relax and bond.
- Urban Hiking Adventures: Staying active and exploring the outdoors is vital for physical and mental well-being. Our Urban Hiking program focuses on safe and accessible walks along local trails, such as the Rivers Edge Trail in Great Falls. Designed with the needs of blind and low vision participants in mind, these outings emphasize safety, collaboration, and enjoying the beauty of nature together.
- Blind accessible Bowling league. More details are coming soon!
Join us to connect, grow, and create lasting memories in a community that understands the unique experiences of blindness and low vision.
